Microsoft can surely rule over the iPad Mini with Retina Display with its new release Surface Mini. A Chinese site claims that Microsoft is working on small tablet with 8 inches screen. It will still be bigger than Nexus 7 and iPad Mini. It is anticipated to release in the mid of 2014. It boasts of gesture control for hands- free navigation, somewhat like Kinect System of Xbox 360. This will surely make it better than Apple’s release
Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite
Not to skip the trend, Samsung is planning to launch a wallet-friendly tablet in January. Reports suggest it will be a refurbished version of Galaxy Tab3 and will be priced below $100. this tablet 2014 is expected to wear some latest features and will come with a high-resolution camera.
Google Nexus 10
Google recently released Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 but soon it will come up with Nexus 10. It is a safe bet for Google with a 10-inch release in 2014. Reports suggest it will be made by Asus and not Samsung.

12 inch Samsung Galaxy Note
Samsung has released versions of Galaxy Note in almost all sizes, so why not include 12inches in the list too. The 12-inch release will give a new kick-start in the tablet segment to replace laptops. A detachable keyboard is expected to be included in it.
